Social Run

On May 7, 2026, we brought the running community together for a 5KM shakeout run ahead of Copenhagen Marathon on May 10.

The idea was simple: easy miles, good vibes, and a chance to connect with fellow runners before race day.

Whether you were preparing to run the marathon, supporting someone on the start line, or simply wanted to be part of the community, everyone was welcome.

No pressure. No racing. Just running together and enjoying the energy leading up to one of Copenhagen's biggest running events.

This event has ended and is no longer available for purchase.

What is this event about?

Our CPH Marathon Shakeout Run was all about bringing runners together before the big day.

We hosted a relaxed 5KM social run on May 7, just three days before Copenhagen Marathon.

It was an opportunity to loosen up the legs, meet new people, share the excitement, and enjoy an easy run with the community.

Who is this event for?

Marathon runners, casual runners, first-timers, and anyone who wanted to join the movement.

You didn't need to be running Copenhagen Marathon to take part. The event was open to everyone, regardless of experience or running background.

What does it take to participate?

Nothing complicated.

Just show up, bring your running shoes, and be ready to enjoy 5KM with the community.

The run was designed to be social and relaxed, with the focus on enjoying the experience rather than chasing a pace.

What is included in the price?

Our 5KM Shakeout Run was completely free and open to everyone.
